State-level cigarette smoking prevalence among American Indian and Alaska Native adults relative to non-Hispanic White adults, 2022-2024
American Indian and Alaska Native adults are more than twice as likely to smoke cigarettes as non-Hispanic White adults in 15 US states—Alabama, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia, Vermont, and Washington.
