Non-FDA cessation approved tools used by cigarette users in the 13 high-tobacco-burden states during their last quit attempt

Methods for cessation should be FDA approved.

Respondents reported all non-FDA approved cessation techniques they utilized during their last smoking quit attempt. Nearly 45.6% of respondents reported using e-cigarettes during their last quit attempt. Another 13.2% of respondents reported switching to cigars or pipes, and 18.5% reported switching to smokeless tobacco.
