Interest in quitting cigarette smoking among US adults who smoke varies widely across US states.
Footnote
Interest in quitting was assessed among adults who currently smoke cigarettes and indicated their interest in quitting smoking by selecting a response on a 10-point scale, which ranged from 1 (not at all interested) to 10 (extremely interested). Those selecting a response from 2 to 10 were considered as being interested in quitting smoking.
